Since setting aside my music career in the early 90's to focus full time on philosophy, I've largely dedicated my musical hours (which are few and far between) to working with Cheryl Foster, singer songwriter (and wife) extraordinaire. In our spare time, over the span of several years,we've produced an album of her songs entitled Ain't About Me, now available on iTunes and (as a physical CD) at CD Baby. Here are some samples of the songs. (You may need to download Adobe's Flash Player to listen, and your browser must be Javascript enabled.) Pull down on the "thumb" to the right of the songlist to see more songs. To use the E-Phonic MP3 Player you will need Adobe Flash Player 9 or better and a Javascript enabled browser.

And here are a few demos we've produced over the years... To use the E-Phonic MP3 Player you will need Adobe Flash Player 9 or better and a Javascript enabled browser. More or Less - While Cheryl usually plays acoustic guitar on her tunes, I played it on this one and did the rhythm/bass programming. This was recorded on our old analog-tape equipment in Tarzana in the early 90s. I Know I Would - This is a re-make of a song we recorded many years ago, but never got around to really finishing. It's definitely Cheryl's most "conventional" song to date. Nashville, are you calling? Cold One - Recorded just a few years after More or Less, with some upgraded (now digital) equipment. You can tell I was having fun with our recently purchased percussion module... History - Recorded in the early '90s at Chase/Rucker Productions in Los Angeles, engineered and co-produced by the late, great Sheridan Eldridge (RIP). Cheryl's playing keyboards, I'm on everything else. Those busy percussion tracks were intended to bring forth, out of the ether, Cheryl's subconscious Latina soul (several past-lives removed from its origins, no doubt).
